My birds are subject to night frights.....

My birds are subject to night frights - startling in the middle of the night and not being able to find their way back to their sleeping perch. What should I do for this problem?

Night frights are a common phenomenon.
Provide the finches with a nightlight so that they are less likely to become startled. So, that they can trace their way back to the perches if it happens.
Some other options for nightlights are a low-watt red light bulb.
